This light-filled home in one of Joburg’s greenbelt neighbourhoods, Dunkeld, was a new build. The clients wanted us to design some of the key furnishings that would add some warmth and character to the minimalist spaces. The guideline for our design process was to keep within the simple and contemporary style of the architecture. Some of the pieces included floating cabinetry, which has the effect of blending in with the spaciousness of each room, amongst other hardworking pieces like the dining room table.
